Volubilis & Meknas Day Trip start After breakfast, we will start the day trip travelling to the Roman City of Volubilis is one of the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco. We will explore and learn about this archeological site of Moroccan history that offers an impressive display of columns, abandoned buildings and beautiful mosaics dating back to 3rd century BC.
After the visit of the ruins we will continue our road to Meknes, the Ismaili capital & one of the four Imperial cities in Morocco, where we will stop for lunch, then start exploring interesting places of the city such as: the fascinating Bab Mansour Gate built by the Sultan Moulay Ismail, discover the tranquil courtyards of the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail and Sahrij Swani used for irrigation and plantation. Strolling around the ancient Meknes medina and soak up the charming hubbub of El Hedim Square. In the afternoon we will return to Fes drop you off at your accommodation and end of our services.
